TSR Staff
We take pride in having amateur staff located around North America who each volunteer their time to provide insight on up and coming prospects from all different hockey avenues. Our contributors are very motivated individuals who all share a common passion for the sport. Being an amateur organization, it is tough to cover all of the various areas across the world, and we are always looking for help. If you feel you like you would be able to contribute to TSR, please contact Scott Campbell at scottcampbell@thescoutingreport.org and let us know what you have to offer!

Current Staff
Scott Campbell – Chief Contributor
I’m currently a 20 year old fourth year student working on a Sports Administration (BComm) degree from Laurentian University in Sudbury. I have a big passion for the game of hockey and I spend a considerable amount of time studying and following the game, as I aspire to be a General Manager at some level in the future. Right now I’ve been lucky enough to have an excellent hockey operations internship with the Sudbury Wolves where I am now entering my second year with the team. Previously I also assisted the Oshawa Generals scouting staff for 3 seasons. Drop me an email at scottcampbell@thescoutingreport.org if you have any questions regarding the site or any questions regarding hockey!
Rich Michalowski – USHL Contributor
I have served as a Varsity High School Head coach in the Pittsburgh are for 16 years now. During that time I have had the pleasure of coaching several players who have moved on to play in the NAHL, USHL, NCAA Divisions 1 & 3 as well as professional hockey. I also assisted in the evaluation and selection of the players who made up Team Pittsburgh’s entry in the Chicago Showcase Tournament. Currently I am an Assistant Coach with the Duquesne Dukes in the ACHA. My experience and passion for evaluating talent have led me to TSR and hopefully a career in scouting someday. If you have any questions or want some information about players in the USHL, contact me at richmichalowski@aol.com and I’ll be sure to help you out!
Mike Kloepfer – OHL Contributor
I am currently a fourth year Laurentian University student, working on a Sports Administration degree (BComm). I’ve been a fan of hockey my entire life, and in high school I started to realize that it might be a viable career option. In particular, I am an avid fan of the OHL and have been fortunate enough to work a pair of internships with OHL teams. Last season I did some marketing work with the Sudbury Wolves, and this season I’m continuing to broaden my knowledge with the Guelph Storm. My long term goals are to work on the business side of a hockey club, but I would also love to do some scouting work as well if I secure a job with an OHL team. If you want to get in touch with me regarding any questions you may have, please do so at mikekloepfer@thescoutingreport.org.
Scott McDougall – WHL Contributor
I am 27 years old and a hockey enthusiast. Growing up in Manitoba I really enjoyed been involved in the game in any aspect and I avidly followed junior hockey. Now living in Alberta, I have since travelled all over Western Canada watching the WHL. I have also recently returned to the game as a referee after a several year hiatus as another way of being involved and having the chance to see some of these kids develop and work their way up to junior hockey and beyond.
Scott Boulet – Webmaster
I’m currently a 19 year old student going into the second year of Computer System Technologies at Cambrian College located in Sudbury, Ontario. I am a avid fan of junior hockey regardless of the league. I aspire to one day experience life as a hockey scout, and I believe this is a possible stepping stone to getting there. I am always looking to talk hockey and share my opinions. Any questions regarding the website can be sent to me at scboulet@gmail.com.

Scott Cambell,
Just read your report on Yogan. I’ve seem to have read conflicting reports. Most reprts I read say ave skating, physical player with good hands and great vision on the ice. Has his play changed since the hit he took in Feb? Being only 17, is he still playing a bit timid because of the hit or just in a bit of a beginng season slump. Only has 13 pts in 14 games. Prob expected to put up more pts?

Ted,
I wouldn’t really agree with that. Yogan is a guy who has plenty of speed for his size, far from average, anyways. I’m not sure that I agree with great vision, but he’s pretty raw right now. As for the points, everyone on Erie is stuggling a bit to produce right now, so I’m sure he’ll be around 60-70 points at the end of the year, which would be pretty solid for him.
